Italian Embassy gets raves

Many people in Washington may call themselves theater aficionados, but few can say so with an authentic Italian accent. On Monday night at the Italian Embassy, ambassador Claudio Bisogniero, a self-proclaimed theater aficionado, welcomed guests to the Stephen Sondheim Award Gala. The event, in its seventh year, raises money for Signature Theatre and honors a Sondheim collaborator.
